We had a great time last week at BBT. It looked like there would be a small crowd but people just kept coming in and turned out we had a good group. Linda led us in Sunday school and advised us it is time for us to grow spiritually. We cannot stay as babies when it comes to our relationship with God. It is one thing to have the innocent faith of a child and another to understand what God wants from us. We must mature in our understanding and obedience to Christ. Linda & Larry also led us with anointing of our hands to be in service to others in God’s name. We believe in Gods anointment and he wants us to share that with others. Larry shared with us on Why we pray and How we should pray. He showed us how important it is for us to be able to just talk to God. I hope you will listen to both recordings on our podcast if you were not able to be with us last week.
This week I want to talk about Heaven. I am going to read from Revelations 21:10-21. There are many people today who believe there is no heaven no hell. We know they are wrong. We as Believers know that we will one day live with Christ in the city of gold as described in this scripture. But where is heaven? What does it mean when we talk about heaven on earth? How can this be? I hope you will join us on Sunday as we talk about this amazing and wonderful thing called heaven!
Last Sunday Cathy fell and broke her hand, she is feeling better but she needs our prayers. Please remember all the prayer request mentioned last week and I hope you will remember what Larry talked about last week and spend more time in talking to God and reading his word. Invite someone to join us on Sunday and make sure you are here as well as we start a new month. Never take for granite the chance to assemble and worship because one day you may not be able to be to attend. I saw my father as he became so out of it he no longer could attend but he missed it so much. He put in his time let’s make sure we do too. Have a great week and remember to do something good for someone this week in Jesus name!!
We love you so much,
Pastor David & Pris
