Welcome followers of BBT. I hope you are having a great week and I hope you are trying to be a blessing to someone as well. We had a great time last week as we celebrated Father’s day at BBT. Linda brought a video about a father’s love for his son. It was truly amazing the love of this father and mother for this child that needed so much. No one else gave them much hope for the future for their son but they trusted in God and truly felt like this son was a gift from God. Larry brought a message about how we as Christian should be reacting with compassion and understanding in situation like we saw in Orlando 2 weeks ago. It is amazing how some people including Christians want to blame and point out the sins of some but overlook the sins in their own lives. I would hope we would look to Jesus and follow his example on loving the sinner but not accepting the sin. I hope you will take time to listen to both of these podcast if you were not able to be with us last week, you will be blessed.
Sunday will be the last Sunday for Craig to be with us. He has been such a blessing to BBT we will surely miss him. In trying to thank about a sermon I could express our feelings for Craig I thought that the story Jesus told about the Good Samaritan would describe Craig. Craig has been that person who would do anything to help us be a better church. Like the Good Samaritan he never asked for anything but would go out of his way to help anyone in this body. I hope you will read the scriptures for this week in Luke the 10Th chapter vs 25-37. I want us to examine what was it that this man had that the Priest and the Levite did not have? What made him go to such measures to help someone he did not know? I think when we look back at our time with Craig we will see those same things in him and hopefully in us as well. I hope you will join us this week as we worship together at BBT. After the service this week we will have a sendoff for Craig as he begins his ministry.
Please continue to pray for this ministry and pray for one another. If you have a request you would like for us to pray for call me or Larry and let us pray with you about whatever you need. This is a church that truly believes in the power of prayer and a God that answers prayers. I hope we will see you Sunday as we say goodbye to the month of June and to Craig as well. Keep doing good things and we will see you on Sunday!
We love you so much,
Pastor David & Pris
