Sunday March 13th, 2016 "Those life changing moments"

I hope you were at BBT last week as we got another chance to share with one another how good God is.  Linda led us in Sunday school and we were able to break up in groups and just prayed for each other.  We don’t take out the time to do that anymore and we need to remember how much we need each other.  I got to share with you the story of the man who was brought to Jesus by his friends and how THEIR faith saved him.  Our Faith does not just change our lives it can move God to do great things for other people as well.  Never underestimate the power of your Faith and God’s power.

We are getting very close to Easter as I read this week in the book of Matthew Chapter 17 vs 1-8, I read about the four disciples who got to witness the Transfiguration of Jesus on the mountain top. What a life changing moment for them.  Do you realize that there are life changing moments in your life that will solidify your faith in Christ? Usually these moments come when we least except them, while we are just doing ordinary things, but these moments are what keep us going.  Following Christ is not an easy road to travel as we have so much that we do not understand, but when these life changing moments come we know that we will follow Christ regardless.  We need to cherish these moments but understand we cannot live on the mountain top all the time.  We need to understand that we need to pick up our cross daily and be about the work God created us for.  Think about those moments that changed your life as I may ask some of you to share your moment with the rest of us on Sunday.  I hope you will be with us Sunday as we fellowship together at BBT.

I want to thank all of you for praying for Kim this week.  She is going to the doctor every day getting shots and letting him look at her leg.  She is doing better and I know it is because of your prayers so thank you again.  Edith is doing well on her rehab after breaking a vertebrae in her back. She hopes to be discharged Saturday and have therapy at her home.  I spoke to Lupe this week and she is very sick. She is going to the hospital emergency room on Wednesday hoping she can get some treatment. Remember her in your prayers.  I hope you having a great week but there are people who need your help right now. Ask God to bring them to your mind and heart and reach out to them this week.  You will make a difference in their lives and yours as well.  We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

We love you so Much,
Pastor David & Pris
