What a great day we had in Church last week! Linda led us in Sunday school and showed us that we all have a purpose and we have a responsibility to fulfill that purpose. Shelly led the first children Sunday school we have had in many years. She was so afraid she was going to mess this up but she did a great job. Pastor Larry brought his message on how important our words really are. We can build someone up or we can tear someone down just by the words we say. He reminded us once we say things we cannot take them back. We may apologize and say we did not mean it but the pain is still there. How important it is to not lash out in anger. I hope we will take this to heart and remember this lesson before we lash out again.
This week we will be making another road trip to New World United Methodist Church in Garland. Pastor Wally has invited us to visit with them this Sunday and we hope to have a good group as we head out for our third road trip this year. I am really excited about the chance to meet several new friends. Pastor Wally has said they have had to add chairs in their auditorium to meet the needs of more people each Sunday. What a great problem that is! I hope you will join with us on Sunday as we leave our church about 9:30 A.M.
Please remember the ones mentioned in the prayer request last week. I hope you are doing well and you feel like you are blessed, I know I feel that way. God has been so good to me and I amazed at his patience with me as I try to make right choices every day. I am not there but I am trying. I am excited about what’s coming up over the next few months and I hope you are as well. Keep doing good things in Jesus name and we will see you on Sunday!!
We love you so much,
Pastor David & Pris
