Last week was another great week at BBT. Linda brought the Sunday School on what an honor it is to serve, because we have been appointed to do so. Larry brought a message on why does it seem that God is not answering our prayers. I hope you were with us Sunday, there were not many, but the few who were there were blessed. It was nice to see Deborah back after being out for several weeks. It is Sunday’s like last week that make the upcoming week SO much better for me. I can’t wait to be back in church this Sunday and see what God has for us.
I wanted to speak this week on how we can overcome the trials and tribulations in our life and live life confidently. It is not easy and we all sometimes lose our confidence or desire to overcome but that is not the Life God wants for us. The scripture verses this week will be the 23rd Psalms and also Galatians 2:20. Both of these scripture are very well know and both give us an excellent example on how we can live our lives full of courage and hope with great expectations. The world is hunger and thirsty for these things but fail to see the answer to it is right here in the scripture. If you will be with us on Sunday I hope you will leave with a new confidence as we realize “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” We will always be uncertain of the future if we look to ourselves as the source of our strength. I hope you will be with us Sunday as we look to Christ as our hope for the future!
We hope to have a guest this week invited by Shelly to come and sing for us. I hope she will be able to be with us. Please pray for Tim as he is still having problems breathing. He is going to the doctor this week and I hope he will be with us Sunday. Please pray for all those mentioned in our prayer request last week and remember we will be starting to put together a new church directory this week. Hopefully we will have it done by the first of February. Keep doing the things God has called you to do and be ready to be appointed to serve at BBT in 2016. This year is going to be the year we get more people involved in more things in God’s name. See you on Sunday!!!
We love you so much,
Pastor David & Pris
