It is with a heavy heart that I must share with you today the passing of our beloved pastor, David Whitmore.  As many of you will know, he went into the hospital on Saturday the 12th with a severe headache.  While there he experienced what appeared to be a seizure and was admitted.  This began a series of complications that ended with a similar event taking his life yesterday in the early afternoon.  This was a shock to all of us who have been following his progress.  I saw him on Sunday evening with Don and Brenda and he was looking forward to the next day’s tests finding the source of his swallowing difficulty and getting him back home.

A memorial service has been tentatively scheduled for June 3rd at at or near our usual meeting time.  We will provide more information once the details are settled. No decision has been made regarding services this Sunday.
