Message for September 7, “The Long Arm of the Law”
When we hear the expression, “the long arm of the law”, we may think of law enforcement’s power to find the criminal wherever he may hide. If only it were always so. Sometimes human laws and law enforcement can be unjust, but just as hard to escape.
But there is a law which is always good, just, and perfect. Its reach goes beyond that of any man-made system. It reaches into our very hearts, and it uncovers the things we would rather keep hidden. That is its purpose. It exposes our sin, and teaches us that we need a savior. Join us as we continue our Bible study in Romans 7:7-13.
