Praise and Prayer Requests for Sunday Service of September 13, Homecoming!
I wanted to keep it short because of everything we needed to do in the service today, so I first asked if any praise reports were just busting to get out and couldn’t wait. We had a few. 🙂 Pam was just glad we could all be here. She was telling everyone before the service how great it would be when we have our real homecoming and we see Jesus! Priscilla says Pastor David is doing very well after his surgery though he wasn’t up to being with us today. She thanks everyone for their prayers and support. Cindy rejoices that their air conditioning is fixed and their car soon will be. We’re all thankful for the bus and that it worked this morning. There was a little scare. Mary is getting a job offer.
Ruth asks prayer for her Cousin Edith in Georgia who will have melanoma removed from her leg. Kay’s mother asks that we pray for Kay. She has been bedridden for three years now. Pam asks for prayer as she has sent gifts to her mother for her birthday. She wants healing in that relationship. Pray for Lesley who is now on dialysis and has a number of other health issues. We are glad that he was able to come today.
We’re all thankful for a beautiful day, a green lawn for our pictures, good food, and good fellowship. Now let’s spread that joy around this week!
Be blessed to be a blessing!
