Praise and Prayer Requests for the week of January 4
Rejoice with us and pray with us. We all enjoyed the worship at Pris’s home yesterday. Of course, we desire to grow and bring new people into God’s family, but one advantage of being small is that we can do things like that. The environment encourages less formality and more interaction, and Pris is always a gracious host. However, we didn’t mean to forego our time of praise and prayer requests. Knowing that there are particular concerns of the moment, I share them now so that we can be aware as we spend our individual time in prayer.
We met at Pris’s apartment in part to make things easier for her because she is having a lot of pain. Pray for her healing. Pray for Kenneth and his family as his father passed away. Pray for protection as he and Kimi travel. Don will have the minor surgery on Thursday to address the collapsing vein through which he receives dialysis. Pray for my second cousin Lucas as he fights infections in the midst of chemo treatments for lymphoma. He is twelve years old.
Please add anything I may have missed in the comments.
