Praise and Prayer Requests from Sunday Service of May 10
Rejoice with us and pray with us.
It was good to be back together again. Cathy is thankful to have Ruth with us on this Mother’s day. So are the rest of us. Shelly rejoices in being home and in the changes God has made in her life. She is thankful that Clarke is doing better. There is hope that they can be together. Edith is thankful that she did not miss a paycheck during the shutdown. I can say the same and also Don and Brenda. Brenda and Don are also glad to have their car fixed. Kelly’s new home is working out so far. The Terrells had a good week. Cathy is thankful that Benny was able to fix her car window. Edith is thankful that her son is alright because of the nature of his job. She prays for his protection.
Priscilla had a request that I am not sure how to phrase appropriately for a public post, so I will suggest that we pray for God to guide her in her personal life and to bring healing, comfort and wisdom to those she cares about. Keep praying for David H, the father of Cindy’s son-in-law, who is hospitalized with coronavirus and fighting for his life. Pray for J.D., brother-in-law of Cathy’s cousin struggling with asthma and COPD. Another cousin, I think I heard Jo, is suffering from dementia. Pray for her and her husband who is not in good health and is caring for her. Dede passed along a request for prayer. No detail was provided. Shelly prays for peace in her family, things to work out for her and Clarke, and strength to stay on the right path. She has multiple health issues as well. Cindy asks prayer for a neighbor who is elderly and needs better care than she is getting. Kimi asks prayer for Karen G. and her family. I think I missed the larger issue but there is sickness in the family. Bobbi asks prayer for her family. Kimi’s sister Lindsey has not been feeling well and is about to start a new job. Pray for those for whom Mother’s day is a sad day. Debra asks prayer for strength to stay out of unhealthy relationships. Keep praying for Kelly, We know that she needs more than a stable living arrangement. Pray for God to touch her heart. Brenda prays for Kelly’s former male friend Kelly to find Jesus. Remember all of those among us facing health challenges.
Be an answer to prayer this week. Opportunity abounds during this time.
