We are now in July and we almost half way through the year where is the time going.  I hope you  are having a great week and looking forward to a THREE DAY WEEKEND.  I hope you will help us celebrate the birthday of our nation with us on Sunday.  Last week Joel and Dana and the group came to lead us in our service.  I was so glad to see them again and I am blessed every time I hear them. What a great example they are of being servants for Christ.  This week another great example of a group of people who love to share the Gospel will be in our service.  Chuck Cagle and the “Senior Moments” will be in service to help us celebrate the 4Th of July.  They will sing all our patriot song that mean so much to us.  I hope you will be here in Church on Sunday.

This week my sermon is on a very very well know scripture.  The lesson is found in Matthew 11: 29-30.  We are going to talk about on this Independence Day for our Nation how we are still very dependent on Christ and at the same time how we must be free from our burdens in order to be the Christian we need to be.  I hope you will read this scripture before Church and being thinking about the burden bearing Christ that we serve.

Pris and some of my kids and grandkids are leaving Saturday morning headed for Florida on vaccation at Disney World!  Please pray they have a great  time together and that they will get back safe and sound on the following Saturday.  Also check the website for the Prayer request we had last week and lift them up to our Heavenly Father.  Remember it is not to late to sign up to work with the mission outreach called “Need Him”.  I know it would be a great experience with anyone who can sign up.  Keep doing the great things you are doing in God’s name and continue to invite others to be part of our service’s on Sunday.  May God bless you and keep you and I will see you on Sunday!!
