What a great day we had in church on Sunday.  It was soooo nice to Joel and Dana back with us and they really blessed us with their music. Bryan Rogers delivered a great message about how God can use the most unlikely people to do great things.  It was really an inspirational message.  I think we all feel like we are not really capable of doing the things God is asking us to do, but remember it is not us, it is Christ in us.  I look forward to hear from Bryan again.

This week I am going to speak about being thirsty.  This Memorial day my family was outside all day in the heat and I knew what it meant to be thirsty.  The people back in Jesus day really knew what it meant to be thirsty.  Clean water was a luxury in some places.  The scripture verse this week is found in the last chapter of the last book in the bible and it is the end of the chapter.  It is Revelation 22: 12-21.  I hope you will be there and be thirsty for what God has in store for us.  There are many verses in the bible talking about being thirsty this is just one of them.  We will look at several others along the way.

We missed Ruth last week as she was visiting with her sister but she is back and her sister is feeling better.  It was good to see Elke in church on Sunday and we are praying for her in her battle with cancer.  Keep doing good things and believing good things and God will continue to bless you and those you are praying for.  Keep our church family in your prayers and we will see you Sunday!!!
