Sunday March 28th, 2010
Greetings faithful followers of BBT. Who would have believed that on the first day of spring we would have 3 inches of snow on the ground, then a day later the temperature would be 65. IT just goes to prove that old saying ” If you don’t like the weather in Texas just wait a minuet.” As pretty as it was I hate that it cost us a chance to meet and fellowship together. I am very sorry Chuck and his group did not get to come and sing their Easter songs for us but I am hoping they can come later next month.
This week is Summitt weekand I am really looking forward to sharing our praise and worship with our friends form Summitt. I know this is a diffrent way to worship then many of us grew up in but God wants us to experience all his gifts and blessings and this is really a good way to share our faith. I hope you will be in Church this week.
I received some very bad news this afternoon from Pris. They have care-flighted her dad to a hospital in Tyler. It appears he has had a stroke and is in really bad shape. I will call you and let you know once we know more. Pris is on her way down there so please be praying for her and our family.
They have almost finished the renovations on the church but they are not done yet. It seems very shortly they are going to have many Men and Women from Heights Church come on a Sunday morning and work on the inside and outside of the church. They will be painting and cleaning and planting flowers and making the church look like the place we all believe it to be. A Beautiful place to come and Worship our God. We would never have been able to do all of this on our own but I thank God he has brought so many dedicated Men and Women into our lives to bless it. We could never repay them for what they have done but that is the way God does business. We are blessed BY them they are blessed FOR doing it. I just stand back in amazement watching his power.
I hope you will be in church this week, sharing all the gifts God has given you and I hope you are making plans to be here on Easter and inviting someone to come with you. We are planning on having our first fellowship in our new building on Easter so be thinking about what you would like to bring.
Please be praying for our dear Brother Glenn Aronhalt, Pris Dad, as we travel down there this week to be with him. I will see you on Sunday, hopefully there won’t be any more snow, and please keep doing good things for those around you in your walk through life. God bless you.
