Sunday November 22nd 2009
Greetings faithful followers of BBT. We had a great celebration last week and a great Thanksgiving dinner afterwards. We had a good group at service and a visitor, Zack from Dallas Theological Seminary, was the first student to visit with us from the new class at the seminary on ministing to people who are suffering. I hope there will be several others that are able to visit as well. Zach is a young man on fire for God and I am so glad he was able to come and visit with us. It was good to see Ed back after several months away. Also Elke and Sandra Hart were back after several weeks of being out sick. It was also good to see Shane visitng us from Houston and Latrish was also able to be back this week. Remember Ruth as she travels to Georgia this week and Mike and Cindy and Chuck and Sara travel to Chicago. My family will be leaving on Saturday to head for our cruise to Jamaica and other places. Please keep all of us in your prayers and we will be praying for you.
This week Joel and his group will be “in the house” to celebrate all the things God is doing for them and their ministry. He is going to be sharing on “Blessings”. How we receive them and how we are to share them with others. God is greatly pleased when he sees we are passings our blessings on to others and He just keeps poring it on till we are overflowing. I hope each and everyone of you will be there Sunday to receive the blessings God has for you.
Remember to pray for those who are still Ill and need our support and pray for all those that are traveling this holiday week. I pray everyone will be safe and return doubled blessed and rested. My family wants to wish everyone at BBT a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving and lets not forget what we should be truly thankful for. We will miss you but we will see you in 2 weeks. God bless you and may God watch over and protect you.
