Rejoice with us and pray with us.

First of all, a big thanks to Cindy for taking the requests and capturing them for me.  Cathy is thankful that they had a good week.  Tim had a good birthday week and is regaining strength such that he went out and mowed the yard.  Cathy says that Jim S. is now recovering well from his surgery.

Kelly asks prayer for Shelly and for herself.  Brenda’s mom fell yesterday and broke her wrist.  Debra asks prayer for her mom who has not been feeling well.  Keep praying for Pris.  Pray also for Kimi who now has shingles.  Keep praying for Anita.  She’s been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and was in the hospital last week.

“in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Th. 5:18)

I apologize for taking so long to put these up.  It was a rough weekend followed by a busy workweek.  But the good thing is I am recovering nicely.  Thank the Lord.

So, as is our custom, we begin with thanksgiving.  Edith was thankful for a good night’s rest and no pain.  April had a good day with her church and the Dallas Christian Fellowship of the Blind that met here on Saturday night.  Cindy is thankful that her water heater was repaired with the help of family.  Cathy and Ruth had a good week.

Keep Priscilla in prayer as recovery from her surgery is painful.  Edith asks prayer over a difficult situation at work.  April asks prayer for herself and her family situation.  Brenda asks for prayer as she works on getting healthier.  Keep the household in prayer.  Remember the family of Ramona Wilson who attended the church that used to meet here in the morning.  She has passed away.  Pray for my family as my grandmother went to be with Jesus on Saturday.  Keep Jim S. in your prayers as his recovery from heart valve surgery has been difficult.

Join with us in prayer and in Praising God for what He has done.

Pray for Priscilla.  She was not at church because of pain from a torn shoulder and since then I have learned that she fell and messed up her ankle.  She is in a boot and will have surgery for the shoulder on Tuesday morning.  Cathy had a list.  Pray for her cousin Joe from Louisiana who is in the hospital for medical testing that includes a spinal tap.  The other Joe we prayed for last week has had complications after his surgery.  Pray for Ruth’s cousin Carlton who was thought to have had a heart attack last week and will be undergoing testing.  Pray for Cathy’s high school friend Teresa with medical problems.  Cindy asks prayer for her grandson Damon as he enters military service.  They hope to be well enough to visit him in a few weeks.  April prays for people suffering from flu.  She also asks prayer for the families of those involved in recent shootings.  Cathy specifically mentioned those from the one in our area.  Dede’s shoulders are hurting her and she asks prayer for her eyes.  Keep Shelly in your prayers.  Keep praying over the needs at the Potts’ household.  Pray for Linda’s brother Jim.  He is looking for a job in line with his career choice and we are also praying for much greater things.

April is thankful for the church and for inner healing.  Ruth had a much better week.  We’re thankful to be here to worship the Lord.

Cathy and Ruth are glad to be back. Kelvin is back with us. Kimi rejoices in having seen family. Debra is thankful for new clothing. Brenda is thankful for a good week and for improvements in her health.

Don has more appointments this week. Edith is struggling with her health. Cindy passed along a prayer request for her grandson Damon as he enters boot camp. Cathy asks prayer for two friends facing medical issues that got away from me. Keep praying for Kimi. Pray for the Potts’ household.

Tim is doing better. They enjoyed time with family over the past weeks. All of Edith’s results came back good. Kimi is feeling much better. Anita is thankful to have finally gotten all her medical testing completed. April enjoyed her holidays. Dede is thankful to be here another year.

Pray for Cathy and Ruth who are home sick. Dede is having trouble with her shoulders. Cindy asks prayer for her daughter who has kidney stones. Brenda asks prayer for herself. She asks prayer for a driver suffering from cancer. Keep praying for the other driver from last week who had the accident. Anita asks prayer for her aunt Margaret who is sick. Kimi asks prayer for a friend Mike with PTSD. Pray for her friend Sarah who is in a difficult situation. Dede asks prayer for a friend Pat with breathing trouble. Anita asks prayer for Sedrick, a family member with cancer of the kidneys. April asks prayer for Hana, a little girl with developmental disabilities. Pray for Kay. Kelvin is sick with pneumonia. Keep praying for Jo, Pris’s sister with breast cancer. Pray for the homeless man who camps out behind our church. He has begun to do things that are dangerous to himself and the property. We have provided him with food and alternative places to stay in the past. Pray for him to find the help he needs and for us to act with wisdom and love as we address the issue.

Cathy and Ruth enjoyed their Christmas holiday. Kimi is thankful for time with family. She praises the Lord that she felt well enough to do her ministry on Monday. April enjoyed Christmas with friends from her church. Brenda also enjoyed seeing family.

Brenda asks prayer for a driver, Terry, who was in a bad wreck. Keep praying for Cathy’s cousin Lois with cancer. She asked prayer for another relative with heart problems. Tim is home sick with a fever. Keep praying for edith. Pray for anita, linda, don, and Kimi. Pray for all in the Potts household. Brenda has an appointment with a cardiologist this week. Pray over the people at the church in White Settlement where there was a shooting today. Brenda is having trouble with her back.

Cindy enjoyed getting to talk to Travis last week and enjoyed time with other family yesterday. Tim is gaining more movement. Don thanks the Lord for a safe trip to see Shelly. Anita is thankful to be ok after another trip to the hospital last week. April is thankful for gifts that she received and for getting to spend time with friends. Cathy and Ruth had a good week. Kimi is glad to be here again. I am looking forward to some vacation time.

Keep praying for Kelly. April asks us to remember families who have lost loved ones this year. She still misses her mom. Keep praying for Tim’s improvement. Cindy is also grieving lost family. Debra is having more health challenges. She is to start breathing treatments. Anita’s aunt has been sick. Keep praying for Kimi’s health. She asks for God’s protection as they do ministry to the homeless tomorrow. Cathy had one I missed fumbling the keyboard. Remember all of those facing ongoing health issues. Brenda asks prayer for her mom as she is by herself more. Pray for Dede. Cathy asks us to remember first responders during the holiday season. Pray for Priscilla’s sister with breast cancer. Her name is Jo. Chris Hale lost his mom recently. Kay asked for prayer.

Kimi is thankful to be here anotehr week. April is thankful for the church and for God’s blessing in the midst of troubles. Tim and Cindy had a good week. Dede is thankful to be here to celebrate and for God’s blessings. We’re glad to have Leanne and Zach back with us today. We’re thankful for the good people from the Heights. Leann is thankful she could be here. She rejoices that Bobbi is out of the hospital. Our prayers were answered.

Cathy gave Priscilla a list with several people on it.  Beverly H. has recently lost her husband.  Becky D. has liver cancer. Jim S. is having a heart valve replacement.  Paul M. is recovering from surgery.  Marsha has had a heart attack.   April asked prayer for a friend who is in the hospital. Pray for Shelly and Clarke. Keep praying for Don and Anita. Leann asks prayer for sleep troubles. Brenda asks prayer for the situation in her home. Dede asks prayer for her health and eyes. Pray for the Terrell family. Edith is struggling with health issues that are not clearly defined. Pray for Priscilla’s eyes.

Edith rejoices that she was able to work all week. Don’s surgery went well. Cindy is thankful for the kindness of a neighbor who made food for them while they were sick. Cathy is thankful to be feeling better after her flew shot and that their house is almost done. Dede is thankful that her eyes have been better. Kimi is glad to be back and we are glad she is here. Bobbi is feeling better and will probably be out of the hospital tomorrow. Ruth had a good week with no incidents of passing out. They enjoyed making candy.

Pray for Kelly and her living situation. Cathy asks prayer for Jim with a heart condition. Don prays for peace as he has to work a modified job for a while. Keep praying for Kimi’s health. Keep praying for Tim. Dede asks prayer for her health and for her eyes. Anita asks prayer for herself and family. She has quite a few doctor appointments coming up. Kelly asks prayer for Shelly and Clarke. Brenda is fighting sinus trouble.

Rejoice with us and pray with us.

Just about everyone who was there reported a pleasant Thanksgiving holiday spent with family and friends.  Cathy is thankful Ruth and she got home safely after a blowout last Monday.

Priscilla was out sick with a virus.  Pray for Kelvin.  We didn’t get to talk to him this week but he has been sick with pneumonia.  We’re still trying to get in touch with Edith to make sure she is ok.  Tim was home with a fever.  Pray for Benny’s x-sister-in-law and family as they have had a death in the family.  I am not clear on the name.  Benny has a persistent cough that does not seem to be responding to treatment.  Don sees the cardiologist  today and has the surgery for the dialysis port on Wednesday.  Ruth is scheduled for an EKG today.  Pray for Cathy’s grandson Paul who had an emergency appendectomy last Friday.  Keep praying for Anita.  She may be on Dialysis before year-end.  Brenda’s back has been hurting.  Pray about the situation in their home.  Pray for our church.  Keep praying for Shelly and Clarke.
