Edited from her text, “I have an urgent prayer request for my brother in Illinois his name is James. He has cirrhosis of the liver from years of drinking. He has been in the hospital to get fluid off his lungs. He is not doing well at this time.”

My recorder is still at church, so I’m just going to try to remember at least some of what was on it since we have some urgent prayer needs.
We were all thankful for opportunities to enjoy time with family over the Christmas holiday. Ruth had a good week.
Cathy requested from Facebook that we pray for Ronna G. She used to work for Cathy at AT&T and she has now been diagnosed with ALS. Anita requested that we pray for her son Terrance and aunt Margaret. Edith was out sick. Pray for Priscilla as she continues to battle illness and has hurt her knee again. I’ve also been told that someone ran into the church van wile it was parked at her house and repairs are needed. Keep praying for Kimi as well. Mary’s two youngest were also home sick. Lisa is starting chemotherapy again as more cancer has been found. Without it they gave her six months. Annette Freeman has passed away. Keep Kay in your prayers.
Sometimes it’s hard to understand what’s happening to us, but we choose to trust the Lord. Pray for our church, that we will have wisdom in this time of testing, that we will learn and grow, that the Lord will show us the way to be the church that He intends, illuminating the darkness with the light of His love.

The Terrells got their van running. Debra is glad to be feeling better than last week. Leanne is glad for a break from school. Anita’s son is still improving and is walking some. Steve is looking forward to becoming a great grandfather. Richard is thankful for a new less expensive truck. They are anticipating a new home. Cathy is thankful for a good week. Don enjoyed finally getting some time off of work. Priscilla got surprise blessings from family friends last week.
Edith asks prayer for an insurance issue to be worked out. Let’s pray that the underlying issue requiring help from the insurance company will go away and make them unnecessary. Lupe asks that we keep praying for Nancy and for her two grandsons as they travel to see family. Cathy asks prayer for her friends the Ward family who have lost a loved one. Also a friend of Ruth passed away. I think the family name is Reding. Richard asks prayer for his sister Sheri who broke her leg. They also need their motor home to sell. Cindy asks prayers for her family. Keep praying for Iris D. She has delayed her surgery. Bobbie has unspoken requests for her family. Anita wants us to keep praying for her health. Kimi has been in a lot of pain. Keep praying for Dede. Keep praying for John. Keep praying for Lisa. Her cancer has returned and is in her liver and lymph nodes.
I pray you all felt the love of God that is so beautifully illustrated this time of year as we have celebrated his arrival.

I don’t have much in the way of detail but Priscilla asked us to pray for Iris D who is having or had a medical procedure.
She also mentioned this morning that she was about to take Lisa to the ER. Keep praying for her. That is all I know right now.

Travis is anticipating his Christmas presents. :). Leanne did well in school. Kimi is thankful for the church and family during this hard time. Ana is glad to be here and we’re glad she’s here. Her father is out of the hospital and recovering. Brenda. Says Barbara and Richard are close to getting their house. Anita says her son is healing well. Lisa is thankful to be able to come today. Cindy is thankful that they may have found what is wrong with the van. She is thankful that they got it home safely. Ms. Fox praises the Lord for speaking to her through someone on TV last week. Ruth is thankful for Cathy and the rest of her family. Bobbie is thankful for family and friends who care for her. Brenda enjoyed the gifts her mom gave to the family. She is thankful to have found a source for much less expensive medication for Don.
Kimi asks prayer for the son of a friend Kathleen who may have cancer. Kimi has an upcoming doctor appointment as well. Pray for their family as Pastor David’s birthday is this week. Cindy prays not to get sick. She asks prayer for Rachel. Ms. Fox asks prayer for her home health aid who is ill. Lupe prays for her granddaughter Nancy regarding family issues. Bobbie has unspoken requests. She asks prayer for Zach. Edith prays for peace in her family and for wisdom in interacting with them. Brenda asks prayer for Barbara having some dental trouble. Keep praying for Ruth.

Anita’s son is recovering well. Cathy’s grandson Brandon is out of the hospital. Cindy and her family enjoyed Christmas season related activities together. Tim continues to improve. Ruth had a good week with her health. Don and Brenda are thankful for more work. Edith enjoyed getting the first phone call from her grandson.
Priscilla was not able to be with us due to sickness. Keep her and Kimi in your prayers. keep praying for Linda. Cathy prays safe travels for her daughter Amber as she returns home. Anita asks prayer for her aunt Margaret who is doing better but is easily tired. Cindy asks prayer for the grandchildren to do well in school. Brenda reminds us to pray for her neighbor Nora due for knee surgery. Ruth begins injections in her left knee tomorrow. Kay has an infection. Pray for John B. He is not getting out of bed anymore in part due to trouble with his legs but also maybe from depression.

Cathy asks prayer for Ramona who used to attend Blessed Hope who has cancer. Elaine asks prayer for her daughter and family. Cindy’s brother is in the hospital. His name is James. Brenda’s neighbor has to have her knee surgery redone. Pray for Brenda’s friend Sheila whose cancer has returned. Anita asks prayer for her son who has been shot in the leg. His name is terance Debra asks prayer for her step father who had his car broken into and wallet stolen. His name is Tim. Kimi is very sick with her breathing. Leslie is also sick with bronchitis. Cathy prays to stay well. Priscilla asks that we pray for Eli who has some health concerns. Keep praying for Bobbie and her family.
Priscilla praises the lord that she found lost money, a lost phone, and a lost relationship. Ruth had a good week with no major incidents. Anita praises the Lord that her medical procedure went well and that they know what her problem is now. The Terrells enjoyed some time out together. Travis enjoyed his day in the park yesterday.

We are delighted to welcome new visitors today! Ruth enjoyed time with her son last week. She had no incidents. Anita enjoyed getting to see her grandson and family. Kimi and Priscilla enjoyed getting to see family and are thankful for the provision from the church. We are thankful for those who make it possible. Cindy got a good report from her doctor. Brenda enjoyed family time.
Ana’s step father is in the hospital due to complications from diabetes and may lose his legs. Pray for Mr. Rodriguez. Rambo asks prayer as he will be getting a hip replacement soon. Anita asks prayer for her kidney issues. Pray for Bobbie’s family. Lisa is very sick. Keep praying for Dede. Cindy asks prayer for the family and especially Travis as they are having trouble getting him to eat. Larry W, our newest visitor, asks prayer for his kidneys. He is on dialysis. Don’s kidney function is also worsening. He will begin the process of testing for a donor soon. Debra is not feeling well and did not join us today. Kimi asked prayer for a friend who has recently suffered several losses in their family. I did not get a name.

Leanne rejoices to have her school project finished. Elaine is glad to be able to be here. The Terrells are back and feeling better. Tim continues to improve. Kimi got some good news this week and got to see new family members. She is thankful not to be hurt too badly after a fall. Cathy is thankful for the help Priscilla, Kimi, and Mary gave her in compiling the dinners for the church. Anita praises the lord to be finished with her medical testing. She has more coming and requests prayer. Pam is thankful for the Lord’s blessings and for the church. Debra’s doctor visit yielded possitive results as well.
Keep praying for Kelly. Keep praying for Dede. She is still ok for now. Pray for the Whitmore family as they go through the first Thanksgiving without Pastor David. Leanne is still having trouble with her shoulder and now swelling and pain in her leg. Brenda’s friend has had a recurrence of cancer. Her name is Sheila. Pray for Ruth as she goes to spend time with her son. Cindy goes back to find out test results this week. She asks prayer for the family. Pray for Bobbie as she has a kidney infection. Pam asks prayer for Brenda O who is in need of repair or replacement for her chair. Kimi asks prayer for Edward as he works long hours. Pray for those traveling this week.
