The Bartimaeus Blog 2021.41
Blessings to all of you! I’m so thankful that we got to have our Homecoming service on Sunday. I’m sorry that things took more time than we thought they would, but it all worked out and we had a great time with great food. Thank you everyone who helped make it possible. Everyone contributed something. Special thanks to Rhanda Hasley,, who came and provided our accompaniment for the singing.
We tried to capture the entire service for those who could not be there, but we ran out of power on the phone we were using. I shared some things I hope we can do as a church in the future. The full message is up as a podcast episode. Pastor Jay Gibson did a great job on the dedication of the new kitchen, and I will be converting that to another podcast episode shortly. You can watch that video on our Facebook page. Thanks to Kimi and Kenneth for all the pictures. Those will be up soon.
I hope we can hold onto some of that excitement as we continue on with the Lord’s work in our church. Nest week we’ll continue with our kingdom study. We will look at the parable of the weeds among the wheat, found in Matthew 13:24-30, and its explanation in Matthew 13:37-43.
Keep on praying for each other and encouraging each other throughout the week. It may be harder for us to get together, but we can still be in touch. We got a message from Cindy earlier this afternoon that her father-in-law has passed away. Remember that family in prayer.
Come Sunday and bring someone with you!
Love you all,
Larry
