Shelly is back with us and feeling better. She thanks the Lord for His protection and provision. Cindy enjoyed time with family and celebrating her birthday over the past two weeks. Rachel is getting help and doing better. Tim also rejoices in family and what God has done for him. Ruth says Lupe came home from the hospital last night and really wanted to come today.
Keep praying for Kelly’s welfare. Kelvin is having some trouble with his foot. Cathy asks us to keep praying for Scott Brown in Louisiana He went through one surgery on Friday and will be on antibiotics for a while. She asks prayer for David Carter, an acquaintance with a similar issue. Keep praying for Kim. She is going home but still in a lot of pain. Karen is in the hospital and no longer at Brentwood. Ana asks prayer for her daughter who has the opportunity for a very good job. Brenda asks prayer for a coworker Patricia who has had cancer treatment and is not doing well. She prays for a little girl she met at the doctor that had a fever but we don’t have her name. Keep praying for Dede. Lisa is having trouble with her legs due to arthritis. She wasn’t able to join us today. Craig asks prayer as he finishes school.

Ruth called 2 ask us to pray for Lupe who is back in the hospital. She is discouraged and needs to know how much we love her. TIA for your prayers for healing peace and joy. Amen! 🙂

Prayer request from Cathy for Scott Brown
Please pray for Scott Brown. He is Ruth’s 2nd cousin. He had emergency surgery last night for an infection in a muscle. He will b on IV antibiotics for several days while in the hospital.
Update from Debra
This from Debra today, “My mom went into surgery at 8:00 am and came out of surgery at 12:30 or a little after. The surgery went well. She is in intensive care.”
Additional Prayer Request from Debra
Debra’s mother is going in for back surgery on Tuesday. Please be in prayer that it goes well and she can be free of the pain. Or, this is me talking now, pray for healing that we know will work and the testimony that would be to all who know about it. God is sovereign, but I figure if we are going to ask, let’s ask for the best, then be thankful for whatever answer He gives.
Keep praying for Debra too. It was good to see her this week.

Praise and Prayer Requests from Sunday Service of April 3
Thank the Lord for his goodness and pray with us over these requests. We may be a little disorganized today as we’re still waiting on several people to get here. As we were talking items for prayer were coming up so we went ahead and started a time of prayer.Linda praises God that her friend Anngela is home from the hospital and recovering. Lupe is back with us today but is still having a lot of trouble with her stomach and not able to eat much. Kimmie has gone into the hospital for a few days due to the infection that she has been fighting. Pray for Shelly. Something happened over the past week but we don’t really have any detail. Cathy asks us to pray for Benny. He is suffering from vertigo and they are awaiting diagnosis. Ruth is having trouble with her leg.
Pray for the Reese family
Ruth called and asked that we pray for the Reese family. Mr. Reese takes care of pest control for the church. They lost their son over the weekend. I’m not clear about the circumstances. Pray for peace and comfort as they grieve the loss.

He is risen! Rejoice with us over what He has done.
Ruth says Kingston will be fre of cancer by the age of 6. Kimmie praises the Lord that she is able to be with us today. We are all happy about that. Linda and I are enjoying having her sister Marilyn with us this weekend. Ana is glad to be back after helping her daughter make a successful move. Don enjoyed seeing his son this morning and learned that he will have a new grandson. Priscilla praises the Lord for the good things that He did even in the midst of the difficulties she has faced over the past few week. Also her dad got hospice.
Keep praying for Clark as he recovers from getting attacked a few days ago. Keep praying for Kelly. Cathy prays for James, husband of a high school friend who has cancer of the kidney. Pray also for another acquaintance, Don, who is in the hospital with heart problems. Pray for Elkie .

Prayer Request from Craig
Craig won’t be abel to join us this Sunday, but he asked that this prayer request be passed along to the church.
I would like the church to pray for my brother Ken.
I talked to my brother last night. Ken says the PET scans and MRI’s are showing the cancer is spreading throughout his body. The six new areas where the doctors found cancer in early Dec 2015 remain. Ken has lost a lot of weight and is having trouble swallowing. Ken is undergoing radiation treatment. The doctors say if he is lucky Ken has less than a year to live. Ken still does not believe in God. Please have everyone pray for Ken’s salvation.

Praise the Lord with us as we rejoice in answered prayer. Remember these requests this week.
We are delighted to have Edith back with us! Cindy is thankful to have gotten all the family together for the weekend. Ruth’s sister is getting better. Linda rejoices that she got a good report from her eye doctor and her vision is correctable now to almost 20/20.
Keep praying for Kelly. Anita asks prayer for her family as she lost her father-in-law last week. Dede is home sick and has been sick since Friday. Travis had to be taken home today throwing up. Pray for Shelly’s health. Keep praying for Kimmie. She is finishing up the treatment but they will determine tomorrow if she has to go into the hospital. Also pray for Clark’s health. Craig prays for help getting through school. He ask us to pray especially over those who come to church this time of year who don’t normally come, that they will get to know Jesus.
