Praise and Prayer Requests from Sunday service of January 22
Kelly prays for strength to walk and for her sister Shelly. I would like for us to keep praying for Sharron, the wife of David who works with me. She will need surgery to remove a brain tumor. Priscilla asks that we pray for Gloria, sister of someone she works with who is also dealing with a brain tumor. Pray for me also. I am still hurting from my little spill last Sunday. April asks prayer for her home and family situation. Don asks prayer for Mark, a coworker who is now in need of a kidney transplant. Cindy prays for quick recovery from bronchitis. Dede asks prayer for a relative, Paul, who has health problems. She wants us to keep praying for her eyes and household.
Finally, we’ll be posting a special thank-you to them separately, but we are thanking the Lord for a new digital projector generously donated to the church by Joel and Dayna Tolley today. We’ll be putting it right to work.
Be blessed to be a blessing this week.
Pray for Sharron
I’m asking the church to pray for the wife of a man that works with me. This is part of the email he sent to a few of us today. Later he told me he was taking her to the ER. That’s all I know at this time.
Sharron is going to need some form of brain surgery soon. We will not know the full scope until after they do an MRI. It is in the process of being scheduled now. A CAT scan done on Monday showed a mass 1.4 by 1.4 on the front part of the brain. From the cat scan they cannot tell what kind it is nor if its within the brain tissue or is between the skull and brain.
Prayer Request from Ruth
Praise and Prayer Requests from Sunday service of January 15
Pray for Pastor David’s family. Priscilla has been sick and wasn’t able to be with us. Kim has been suffering with asthma. Tyler has pneumonia. Tim has had to leave Brentwood and we don’t have information at the moment on his whereabouts and what he might need. Sandra is looking out for him though so he’ll be ok. Cindy reminds us to pray for Chuck and Sarah. Pray for peace between Kelly and Shelly and wisdom for their living situation. Pray for Pam’s medical needs and that she will make good decisions as to what to do about them. Betty wants us to pray for Mary Taylor. She is not able to come until she gets a new chair that she can’t fall out of. It was a delight to have my brother Joe and family with us. My niece Joy wants us to pray for Ella who has cancer. Lupe prays for her granddaughter who wants to work in a nursing home and needs to pass a test first. Dede asks prayer for muscle spasms all over that she has been having lately.
Be blessed to be a blessing this week. Give thanks to the Lord who gives us life though we deserve death and who deserves all our worship.
